Are the vehicles on GoSee available to book immediately?
Vehicles that can be booked immediately will say 'Instant confirmation' within the search results. If you book one of these, you will receive a confirmation automatically.
Other vehicles will say 'On request' and require 24-48 hours to get back to you with availability. If a vehicle is available and your booking is confirmed, you will be sent a confirmation email. If the booking is not available, we will search for a similar vehicle and contact you with available options. Money will not be collected until you have a confirmed booking.
Where do I find the depot location details and pick up instructions?
If you have yet to book, (let's say a campervan in Melbourne, Australia), perform a search for your location and dates. You can find the address for the pick up location by clicking on the "Vehicle details/Depot info/Rental terms" link on the search results page.
If you have already booked, the depot location and pick up instructions can be found at the bottom of your confirmation email.
Will I get charged if the vehicle I have requested is not available?
If the vehicle you requested is not available, you will not be charged as you do not have a confirmed booking. We will look for alternative vehicles for you and contact you with any available options. If you select one of these options and it is confirmed, we will then collect payment.
What is a bond or security deposit?
A security bond or security deposit is an amount paid by you when you pick up the vehicle and held by the vehicle rental company while you are renting their vehicle. It is fully refundable when you return the vehicle in a satisfactory condition.
Some companies require only a swipe or imprint of your credit card, while other companies require physical payment, which is refunded at completion of the rental. The amount of bond can vary, and so can the way they are taken - so please check the terms or insurance information on your relevant vehicle.

Can I pick up a motorhome in one city and drop it off in another city?
A lot of rental companies will offer one-way trips, especially if they have branches in more than one city like Sydney, Brisbane, Cairns, Gold Coast, Perth, and many more. Specify the pick up and drop off locations when you make a search to see if this option is available for you.
Can you sleep anywhere in a campervan?
How do I get rid of waste and sewer water?
The most common way of releasing the waste and sewer water is to plug the sewage/waste water hose into the side of the campervan and the other end of the hose into the drain at a designated dump station or disposal area. When you pick up the vehicle, staff at the depot will show you how to connect these hoses.
Another way of releasing it is to take the tank/cassette out of a drawer outside the campervan and dump this at a designated dump station or disposal area. In both cases you should clean the hose or the tank/cassette with clean fresh water and add toilet chemicals afterwards by either putting them into this tank or just into the toilet and flush it down. That keeps the toilet clean and fresh smelling.
Do I need an International Driver's License when renting a campervan in another country?
We recommend that you carry an International Driver's License (also known as an International Driving Permit) and some rental companies may require it.
Please check the terms to see if your nation's driver's license is acceptable, as the requirements vary from vehicle and country.

I want to change my booking. How can I do that?
If you need to change your booking, you can login to our website and manage your booking. You’ll need the email address you made the booking with. In addition to changing your booking, you can also view your confirmation, add extras, update your details, and cancel your booking.
Please note that if you make changes to your booking, such as the date of travel, the vehicle rental rates may change.
What are the charges if I cancel my booking?
The amount of the cancellation fee depends on the rental company, so please see the terms and conditions when booking your vehicle. However, the initial deposit is non-refundable as per standard terms and conditions. If any further fees apply they will be charged as the cancellation terms.
Terms can be found under the payment section during the booking process. If you already have a booking, this will be located at the bottom of your booking confirmation page.
