The Moto Car Rentals fleet
Moto car rentals invests in the most popular rental model in the country: SUVs. Customers can choose a peppy compact SUV that suits the narrow streets of the cities, or a more spacious, sporty type suited to bigger groups and long drives.
Holden Trax 2WD
These models will be between 2 and 4 years old, with automatic transmission, and accommodate up to five passengers. Enjoy great features like a reversing camera, Bluetooth capability and Traction Control.
Mitsubishi Outlander 2WD
These models will be slightly newer, between 1 and 3 years old, albeit slightly less luggage space than the Holden Trax. The Outlanders have automatic transmission and similar great features like a reversing camera, Bluetooth capability and Traction Control.
Mitsubishi Eclipse 2WD
The Eclipse models are newer and larger, between 0 and 2 years old, and accommodate up to five passengers with luggage for six. With a bit more power and a few more features, the Eclipse is a firm favourite for long road trips.

Are Moto Car Rental’s prices all-inclusive?
Moto Car Rental prices are in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include Goods and Services Tax (GST) at 15%, unlimited kilometres and standard third party and public liability cover. There are no hidden booking fees.
How do I pay for my rental car?
When booking with Moto Car Rental, you don’t have to pay anything upfront. However please give us a call or email us if you’d like to do so.

What credit or debit card do I need to bring?
The credit or debit car you bring with you to pay for your rental booking must be in the name of the main driver. Only the main renter/driver's credit or debit card can be put down for security purposes.
What is Moto Car Rental’s cancellation policy?
There is no cancellation fee for Moto Car Rental, but please advise us if you need to cancel.
How do I collect my vehicle?
Please refer to your reservation confirmations for full vehicle pick up information.
Can I request a certain make/model?
We will note any request for specific vehicle models or body styles and do our best to secure them, or provide you with a vehicle with similar technologies / certain features you are after.
How many drivers can be on the agreement?
Extra drivers can be arranged on arrival. Moto Car Rental includes two named drivers (including the main driver) in the base rental car hire cost. Additional drivers (from the 3rd driver and above) are an additional cost of $5 per day, up to a maximum of $50.
